From Wednesday 24th March Maile Colbert (www.myspace.com/colbertmaile) together with Rui Costa (www.myspace.com/ruicosta) will care for the sour dough starter. They will use the starter during the Easter weekend when they will travel up North to a very small rural village that Rui's family is from for the traditional Portuguese Easter lunch. The bread shall be shared with the family, and the lunch documented. |

| From Friday 26th February Ana Carvalho cared for the sour dough starter. On Saturday 13th March she cooked dinner for nine people (Ana included). Along with other food there was bread made from the dough. She gave to everyone a part of dough so they can also make bread at home. The event also celebrated 500 short stories written by Bronte Sisters on the blog(spot) Latido de Cachorro (http://latidodecachorro.blogspot.com/). Ana passed on the starter to Maile Colbert and Rui Costa. |
From Tuesday 1st December 2009 curator Zoe Shearman, Relational, Bristol cared for the sough dough starter during installation week of Arnolfini’s Craftivism exhibition. As part of Craftivism, Arnolfini café bar baked the starter into snacks which were distributed at the opening on Friday 11th December (6-8pm) and, with the Bakery at Bordeaux Quay, produced a supply of bread during the exhibition which continued until 14th February 2010. | From Saturday 19th September 2009 Cultural Capital was cared for by Ben Hyde at his bakery Trois Petits Pains in St Julien de Jonzy, France. On the eve of Saturday 26th September (when Trois Petits Pains is at its busiest) Ben offered portions of starter to his customers (many of whom are friends). Having translated the work's protocols into French, he offered each of them information about Capital Culturel, a recipe for Pain au levain de ‘capital culturel’ , and the instructions for caring for the starter and passing it on to others.
Trois Petit Pains is a small village bakery making sour-dough bread totally by hand and then baking it in a wood-fired oven. |

| During August 2009 Cultural Capital was part of ISEA2009 The Exhibition curated by Kathy Rae Huffman. The Exhibition is an extended part of ISEA2009, the 15th International Symposium on Electronic Art, which took place from 23rd August to 1st September 2009 on the island of Ireland. The starter was cared for by Kathy during installation week and a number of other curators throughout August, including Peter Richards at Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast. On Saturday 29th August 2009 the starter was distributed by Kathy Rae Huffman at the CRUMB Open Bliss Workshop held at The Golden Thread Gallery, and convened by Sarah Cook and Axel Lapp. The workshop took the form of a conversation between practicing curators, bringing together contemporary art and new media art concerning local, site-specific and global, networked practices. |

They distributed the starter, made bread, made lunch, told stories, made videos and took photos. |

From Thursday May 21st 2009 cultural_capital was being cared for by KURATOR in Plymouth. Joasia Krysa and Geoff Cox distributed the starter at THE INFECTED SEMINAR on Thursday 28 May 2009. Snacks were served, produced by artist Lau Thiam Kok, made during KURATOR's custodianship of sourdough starter. |

From Friday May 1st 2009 cultural_capital was being cared for by Caroline Broadhurst at home in Edinburgh. She organised lunch with her old colleagues on Friday May 15th and distributed the starter to them. One portion of the starter was sent by post to KURATOR to care for. |

From Tuesday April 21st 2009 cultural_capital was being cared for by Alice Ladenburg in the windowless but very cozy kitchen of her flat in Marchmont.
